What needs to be installed?
Nothing. Download the Club Coders app zip, extract it, run it. Windows may show a "More info → Run anyway" warning the first time because the club's program isn't signed by a big software company. Join the Zoom ten minutes early if anything's not working and we'll sort it live.
What can parents see?
Everything your own child does. Sit with them during any session, or arrange with Peter to join online, muted. Sessions are recorded for safeguarding and kept for 90 days. The game has no chat. The mentor is Enhanced DBS checked and never messages students directly.
What does my child's account hold?
A username (first name or nickname, letters and numbers), a hashed password, their robot and fighter designs, their brain code, and which missions they've completed. It lives on a UK server. No surname, school, email, address or any personal information is ever stored with it.
How does cancelling work if we join?
Monthly rolling, no joining fee, no minimum term. Cancel before your next billing date, or pause for free for up to two months a year, for example during exams.
